S.E.P.A - ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SCIENCE PROGRAM: EARTHWORMS (TRAINING VIDEOS AND LAB DEMOS)
During my time at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, I participated in an internship through the biology department where I filmed a series of educational videos aimed at middle and high school students. These videos focused on the effects of chemicals in our environment. A key element of the project involved using earthworms as a testing agent, allowing viewers to visualize and understand the impact of various chemicals, particularly herbicides like aldicarb.
I filmed seven distinct videos for the biology department. Among these, four feature lab demonstrations, educational slides, and informative blurbs designed to enhance learning. The remaining three videos focus on fundamental lab demonstrations, illustrating the results from each test conducted. Each video aims to provide clear and engaging content to support the curriculum effectively.
