3D Art - Blender3D

What started as a late-night distraction to hide from a roommate's party has transformed into a passion for creating visual art. Over the past two years, I have delved into the world of 3D artwork using Blender. This journey began with a simple donut tutorial, which sparked an explosion of creativity resulting in a chaotic array of donuts, spoons, and spilled coffee.

My exploration expanded with the sci-fi corridor tutorial, which taught me about shaping and lighting. With this knowledge, I was able to enhance my environments by modeling pipes, broken ceiling lights, and crafting an immersive foggy atmosphere.

In the spring of 2022, I took it a step further by enrolling in a 3D modeling course at UWM. This experience provided me with a deeper understanding of Blender's tools and capabilities. I completed several projects for class assignments, which not only helped refine my skills but also allowed me to integrate Blender into my film work.

For example, I utilized Blender's fluid simulations to create a sinking ship effect for my short film "Jolly Roger Jokester." Additionally, I contributed background animations for the music video "Fallin’" by Michael Liriano, which is currently unreleased. Each project has contributed to my growth as an artist, and I look forward to further exploring the possibilities that 3D modeling offers.
